Hockey debaters Kevin Allen and Bob Duff welcomed noted hockey author Todd Denault to Thursday’s HockeyDebates.com podcast.
Denault’s attention to detail in works about Jacques Plante and Wayne Gretzky are impressive. But with a season that looks to be running out of time, it was his book A Season In Time that was the topic of conversation.
In this book, Denault looks back at the 1992-93 NHL campaign, a seminal point in league history. It was a season when the Montreal Canadiens were the last Canadian team to win the Stanley Cup, the Toronto Maple Leafs came the closest to winning it since their 1966-67 Cup triumph, and Wayne Gretzky led the Los Angeles Kings to great heights.
